Industry Solution Architect, Senior

Salary: £49,000 – 89,000 per year

Requirements:

• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, CPA, or equivalent)
• Significant experience in senior finance, finance systems, finance transformation, or financial software advisory roles
• Strong understanding of ERP, financial management solutions, and the core processes that support modern finance organizations
• Practical knowledge of financial accounting, reporting, governance, controls, compliance, audit requirements, and finance operating models
• Ability to translate finance needs, process challenges, and market insight into clear product requirements, recommendations, and design guidance
• Ability to communicate effectively with finance stakeholders, product teams, technical teams, and senior internal stakeholders
• Confidence analyzing and documenting complex finance processes, requirements, and business scenarios
• Collaborative, proactive, analytical approach and comfort working across multiple initiatives in a fast-moving environment
• Relevant finance qualification, finance degree, accounting qualification, or equivalent professional experience
• Hands-on experience with Infors competing enterprise financial management products
• Strong knowledge of competitor products, market positioning, emerging finance technologies, and their influence on product strategy
• Experience in Agile product development environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams to refine requirements, shape solution design, influence delivery priorities, and validate business outcomes
• Experience applying artificial intelligence, automation, analytics, or workflow optimization within finance processes
• Experience working with globally distributed teams

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert guidance on finance users end-to-end processes and workflows, helping us deliver intuitive, efficient, and connected user experiences
• Act as a finance domain expert within our Product Management organization, translating finance needs, market insight, and competitive intelligence into product guidance
• Work with Product Management, Product Ownership, Business Analysis, Architecture, Development, and UX teams to shape product strategy, validate requirements, and influence design decisions
• Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, regulatory developments, and emerging finance technologies to identify opportunities, risks, and capability gaps
• Advise on finance operations and opportunities to modernize workflows, improve decision-making, reduce manual effort, and increase efficiency through AI and automation
• Guide the design of controlled, auditable month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including journals, reconciliations, approvals, reporting, and period locking
• Advise on governance, approval models, internal controls, segregation of duties, regulatory compliance, audit readiness, traceability, and transparent financial processes
• Shape requirements for accurate, timely financial reporting, dashboards, and analytics that support business decisions
• Help ensure our platform supports complex organizational structures, multiple legal entities, currencies, tax requirements, regions, and global finance operating models
• Evaluate and test our finance solution and help shape it to meet finance professionals day-to-day needs
• Represent finance leaders, controllers, accountants, auditors, and CFOs throughout the product lifecycle
• Challenge and validate product direction using real-world finance experience and knowledge of market-leading solutions
• Contribute thought leadership and strategic recommendations to inform our long-term product vision, roadmap priorities, and investment decisions
