About the Role

We’re looking for a hands-on Assistant Production Manager – Textiles to support our client with their embroidery and print operations. Working closely with the Production Manager, you’ll help lead the team, maintain quality standards, and ensure orders are completed on time. This is not your usual Assistant Production Manager role. You will be working on embroidery and print machines 80% of the time, while supporting an established and friendly team of machinists.

• Support the Production Manager and cover their duties when required.
• Work across embroidery and print production.
• Supervise and support production team members.
• Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Help achieve production targets and quality standards.
• Identify and resolve production issues.
• Support equipment maintenance and servicing.
• Ensure health, safety, and quality procedures are followed.

What We’re Looking ForAssistant Production Manager – Textiles

• Experience in textiles, embroidery or sewing either as a career or a hobby
• Previous supervisory or management experience.
• Hands-on, team-focused approach.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Confident using IT systems and willing to learn production software.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage priorities.
