Job Title and Requirements

We are recruiting for an experienced Assistant Centre Manager, Automotive Supervisor or Senior Vehicle Technician to join a busy automotive service centre in Banbury. Applicants must have previous automotive workshop or service centre experience, hold a valid MOT Tester Licence, a Full UK Driving Licence and have the right to work in the UK. A relevant automotive technical qualification is also required.

Must have a valid MOT licence and a full UK driving licence.

Up to£34,000 basic per annum, plus bonus, OTE £40,000 per annum

Shift and schedule

Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm; 1 in 2 Saturdays, 8:30am – 4pm, with a day off in the week

Skills and experience

Proven experience in an automotive assistant manager, supervisor or senior technician role

City & Guilds, NVQ or other relevant technical qualification

Job responsibilities for the Protyre Assistant Centre Manager role

  • Support the Centre Manager with day-to-day running of the centre, ensuring targets and business objectives are met
  • Deliver excellent customer service, ensuring customers are dealt with promptly and professionally
  • Allocate work effectively to technicians to maximise productivity and maintain high standards
  • Maintain strong operational standards, including cleanliness, stock control, cost control and compliance
  • Assist with MOT testing, servicing and vehicle maintenance duties when required
