Overview
In this role you will drive profitable growth in the UK Fuel Card segment by leading strategy and relationship development with National Accounts and fuel card resellers. You will work field-based, with travel to visit customers and occasional office presence, to maximise volume and share in a competitive market. You will own negotiations, contract management, and performance targets while supporting cross-functional teams to enhance value selling. This position offers a car allowance, a ~20% bonus, and a defined pension, reflecting a performance-focused, field-driven environment. You will be key in shaping the UK Fuel Card business and building lasting client partnerships across the channel

Responsibilities
- Lead development and execution of the UK Fuel Card business strategy to grow sales and profitability
- Maintain accountability for all Fuel Card matters
- Manage contracts and relationships effectively
- Implement annual performance reviews, targets, product training and sales incentives
- Negotiate product sale/purchase agreements with Fastfuel resellers and other partners
- Support Retail Sales with Fuel Card domain knowledge to enhance value selling
- Manage performance and profitability of National Account portfolios (branded and unbranded)
- Develop Group strategies to manage relationships and drive volume and network growth
- Identify conversion opportunities from Group strategies and CAT Pipeline
- Ensure timely deals setup and branding process handling
- Build strong relationships with National Groups to maximize value and profit
- Meet National Groups stakeholders quarterly to review performance and plan opportunities
- Support projects as guided by Senior National Account Manager
Key requirements
- At least 5 years’ experience in commercial energy, fuel cards or payments
- Ability to build valued relationships across National Accounts and Fuel Card resellers
- Sound judgement for negotiation, analysis and financial evaluation
- Field/home-based role with travel; Midlands or central UK location preferred
- Strong contract and relationship management skills
