Pathway is working with a busy, established law firm in South Belfast that is looking for an experienced Conveyancing Legal Secretary to join its team.
Youll support an experienced solicitor in a busy conveyancing department, playing a key role in keeping transactions moving and clients informed.
This is an office-based role. Salary will depend on experience, with flexibility for an exceptional candidate.
The role
- Providing day-to-day secretarial and administrative support to a conveyancing solicitor
- Preparing correspondence, documents and completion paperwork
- Opening and maintaining files, updating records and managing key dates
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors
- Helping to progress transactions and keeping clients informed
- Managing appointments, calls and general administrative tasks
The person
- Experience as a legal secretary in residential conveyancing
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- A professional, approachable manner with clients
- The ability to prioritise work and support a busy fee earner
- Confidence using case management systems and preparing legal correspondence
