Overview
As Senior Administrator within the Energy Team, you will provide high-level administrative support to senior leadership and project teams, enabling efficient decision-making and smooth operations. You will manage diaries, meetings, onboarding, and corporate communications, while maintaining accuracy in records and reports. You will produce materials and dashboards to inform the senior team, and uphold confidentiality and health, safety, and environmental standards in collaboration with SHQE. This role supports key energy projects and internal cross-functional collaboration, contributing to Murphy’s innovative and sustainable energy delivery. Responsibilities
- Promote health, safety and environmental best practices with SHQE
- Maintain confidential handling of sensitive materials
- Deliver high-quality service in phone and in-person interactions
- Keep accurate paper and electronic records
- Provide routine and ad hoc management information for decision-making
- Prepare correspondence, documents and presentations to specification
- Manage diaries and organise meetings (virtual and in-person) for senior team
- Book work location resources (rooms, projectors)
- Order and maintain project stationery and equipment
- Follow established processes and provide feedback on them
- Inspect office equipment and services as required by legislation/manufacturer
- Compile weekly/monthly project data into reports and dashboards
- Serve as administrative focal point for senior leadership, coordinating diaries and cross-department communication
- Support onboarding for new project staff and contractors (desk setup, system access, accommodation, induction)
Key requirements
- Successful experience in general administration or customer services
- Proficient with IT and office equipment (telephone, computer, fax, copier, printers)
- Literate and numerate; proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
- Experience in the construction industry is desirable but not essential
