Cost Manager – Energy & Natural Resources – NEC3/4

Overview

In this Cost Manager role, you’ll support energy projects by monitoring and forecasting project costs to ensure alignment with budgets. You’ll work with client and contractor teams to drive cost control, change management, and delivery of KPIs, while applying best practices in governance. The position offers hybrid work and opportunities to deepen expertise in renewables. You’ll contribute to a growing Cost Management team and help deliver value for high-profile clients.

Responsibilities

• Administer contracts in line with project objectives and policies
• Provide accurate cost monitoring, forecasting and reporting
• Proactively monitor cost variance and cash flow and ensure timely applications
• Collaborate with client and contractor teams to manage deliverables, KPIs and programme performance
• Manage contract change to maintain governance and best practice
• Drive improvements in forecast accuracy and budget
• Support hybrid working and cross-functional collaboration

Key requirements

• Experience in the renewables sector (hydrogen, carbon capture)
• Degree or HNC level qualification
• Knowledge of NEC 3/4
