Overview
In this role you will shape the long-term go-to-market for QuickBooks by translating market and customer insights into durable strategy. You will partner with product, sales, and executives to set strategic bets that drive growth and competitive positioning. You’ll act as a bridge across functions to align on direction and enable field teams to sell a compelling vision. This is an opportunity to influence multi-year outcomes in a global product marketing context and work with senior stakeholders. Responsibilities
- Define strategic direction for QuickBooks products and services to win with customers
- Refine ideal customer targeting and value proposition using market and customer insights
- Shape the strategic roadmap in collaboration with product leadership
- Drive cross-functional alignment among product, sales, and executives
- Develop business cases and narratives to support future product bets for senior audiences
- Partner with Sales to translate strategy into an actionable, compelling field narrative
Key requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred) or equivalent work experience
- 10+ years in product marketing, product strategy, or management consulting with multi-year strategy ownership
- Proven ability to define and defend long-range bets using market intelligence and customer insight
- Experience working with product management teams
- Strong ability to influence stakeholders in a matrixed organization
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Ability to operate in ambiguity and drive measurable strategic outcomes
- Fluency in a range of AI tools with experience applying them to workflows
- Familiarity with accounting, payroll, or small business software is advantageous
