Overview

In this Quantity Surveyor role, you join Peace Recruitment’s client in Edinburgh to support a growing Cost Management team. You will handle cost planning, procurement, contract administration and final accounts across a varied project portfolio. The position offers strong client contact, clear progression paths to Senior and Associate levels, and hybrid working within an established consultancy. You will work on high-profile projects, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to drive value and risk management. This is a hands-on role with a clear focus on delivery and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Cost planning and estimating across projects

Key requirements

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
• Consultancy or client-side experience preferred
• Strong commercial awareness
• Good communication and client-facing skills
• Understanding of standard forms of contract
• Working towards MRICS or Chartered status beneficial
