Quantity Surveyor

Overview

In this Bristol-based role you will contribute as a Quantity Surveyor within a regional main contractor. You will manage either standalone projects or support a Senior QS on larger schemes, focusing on procurement, cost control, and final accounts. You will collaborate with pre-construction teams on 2-stage tenders and liaise with client teams, while mentoring junior surveyors. Responsibilities

• Work with the pre-construction team on 2-stage tenders
• Oversee procurement and management of sub-contractor packages
• Administer final accounts and handle any disputes
• Liaise with client teams to align on targets and expectations
• Mentor junior members of the surveying team and support their development

Key requirements

• BSc Quantity Surveying or HNC
• Experience managing projects from pre-construction through final account
• Proficiency with JCT and NEC contracts
• Must be commutable to Bristol and able to visit office/site
• Must have full right to work in the UK
