We’re working with a manufacturing business in Carrickfergus to recruit a Maintenance Engineer to join their maintenance team.
The Benefits:
- 22% shift premium for 8-hour rotating shifts
- 36% shift premium for 24/6 or 24/7 rotating 12-hour shifts
- Initial dayshift training until competent and confident; duration depends on experience and progress
The Role:
Youll carry out mechanical and electrical repairs and preventative maintenance on CNC and manufacturing equipment, helping improve reliability and production efficiency.

The 24/7 pattern is relatively new and may be temporary. It is currently planned to end by the start of November, with a return to the previous 24/6 pattern.

he Requirements:
- Time-served engineer with NVQ Level 3 in engineering or equivalent
- Mechanical and electrical maintenance experience
