Salary: Up to £14.50 dependent on qualifications and experience
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week

Nala Recruitment are currently working with a welcoming and supportive nursery who are looking for a Senior Early Years Educator / Nursery Room Leader to join their team on a full-time basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Early Years professional who is ready to take the next step in their career, combining high-quality childcare with responsibility for supporting and leading a nursery room team.
The Role
As a Senior Early Years Educator / Nursery Room Leader, you will play a key role in supporting children’s learning, development and wellbeing, whilst also providing guidance and supervision to your team.
- Providing high-quality care and education to children through engaging, play-based learning
- Supervising and supporting the team within your room
- Creating a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment where every child’s individual needs are supported
- Identifying opportunities to improve learning and teaching techniques
- Developing engaging experiences and environments that encourage children’s curiosity and development
- Ensuring children’s individual learning and development needs are recognised and supported
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and documentation
- Supporting and conducting team meetings and appraisals where appropriate
- Working closely with other Room Leaders and the wider management team
- Building strong relationships with children, parents, colleagues and other professionals
- Ensuring safeguarding, health and safety and EYFS requirements are followed at all times
We’d love to talk to you if you have the following
- A Level 3 or above qualification within Early Years
- Proven experience working as an Early Years Educator, Nursery Nurse or Nursery Practitioner
- Good knowledge and understanding of the EYFS
- Experience of supporting or leading a team would be beneficial
- Excellent communication skills with both children and adults
- A caring, positive and inclusive approach
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a wider nursery team
- A commitment to providing high-quality care, learning and development opportunities for children
