Nursing Home Manager
£55,000 – £60,000 per annum

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly regarded care home in Dundonald for an experienced Nursing Home Manager to lead their dedicated team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and compassionate healthcare professional to take responsibility for the overall management of a successful nursing home, ensuring residents receive exceptional care within a safe, welcoming, and person-centred environment.
The successful candidate will combine strong clinical knowledge with effective leadership skills and a passion for delivering outstanding standards of care. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the culture of the home, supporting staff development, and driving continuous quality improvement.

The Role
As Nursing Home Manager, you will:
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the nursing home
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care across all departments
- Maintain compliance with RQIA requirements and relevant healthcare regulations
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to nursing, care, and support staff
- Manage staffing levels, recruitment, and workforce development
- Monitor budgets and resources to ensure effective service delivery
- Promote a positive and inclusive culture throughout the home
- Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies
- Oversee quality assurance processes and drive continuous service improvement
- Act as a visible and approachable leader, championing excellence in care provision
About You
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Current NMC registration as an RGN, RMN, or RNLD
- A valid NMC PIN
- Previous experience within a nursing home management role or senior leadership position
- Strong knowledge of elderly care and regulatory standards
- Excellent communication, organisational, and people management skills
- Demonstrable experience leading successful multidisciplinary teams
- A resident-focused approach with a commitment to delivering outstanding care
- The ability to inspire, motivate, and develop staff at all levels
