Health & Safety ManagerWolverhampton£50,000 + Company Car / Car AllowanceMonday to FridayWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Health & Safety Manager to join a manufacturing business based in Wolverhampton.This is a hands on role where you’ll take ownership of Health & Safety and environmental standards across the manufacturing site and customer locations. You’ll work closely with employees, managers and contractors, helping to maintain compliance while continuing to develop a strong, proactive safety culture.The role will involve:Managing Health & Safety across the manufacturing facility and customer sitesEnsuring compliance with UK legislation including COSHH, PUWER and RIDDORDeveloping and improving Health & Safety policies, procedures and emergency plansCarrying out risk assessments, audits and site inspectionsLeading accident, incident and near miss investigations and implementing corrective actionsDelivering Health & Safety inductions, toolbox talks and trainingMonitoring Health & Safety performance and reporting to senior managementManaging contractor, visitor and environmental complianceSupporting fire safety, hazardous substances and waste managementSupporting and maintaining ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standardsHelping drive the business towards its Zero Accident strategySupporting the introduction and development of digital Health & Safety systemsWe’re looking for:NEBOSH Diploma or equivalentIOSH Membership, ideally GradIOSH or CMIOSHPrevious Health & Safety leadership experience within manufacturing or another high-risk environmentStrong knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation, particularly COSHH, PUWER and RIDDORExperience working with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work with people at all levelsA practical, hands-on approach to Health & SafetyGood analytical, reporting and investigation skillsIf you’re an experienced Health & Safety professional looking for a role where you can genuinely influence safety culture and make a difference within a growing manufacturing business, we’d be keen to hear from you.Apply now or contact Cameron at CV Technical for more information.
