Overview
In this role you will serve as the primary quality contact for the business, ensuring products and processes meet customer and regulatory requirements across Defence and Civil aerospace. You will work with cross‑functional teams to develop quality plans and drive improvements, supported by training and mentoring as needed. The position offers exposure to both aerospace lines and potential international travel to align with customer needs. You’ll contribute to continuous improvement and safeguarding build quality in a dynamic, quality‑driven environment.

Responsibilities
- Act as the main customer contact for quality across business processes
- Develop quality strategies and performance metrics with Manufacturing Engineers
- Create and support quality plans for products and processes
- Provide guidance on quality issues across the business
- Support corrective and preventive actions and lean initiatives
- Analyse quality data to identify improvement opportunities and implement actions
- Lead or participate in customer meetings to agree action plans for quality improvement
Key requirements
- Experience in Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, or related aerospace production environment
- Customer-facing and able to travel domestically and internationally
- Proven track record of driving quality and process improvements
- Willingness for national/international travel

- Experience with APQP tools (AS9145)
- HNC qualification or equivalent (desirable)
- Experience with MRP or ERP systems
