Job description

This position forms part of the Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) programme which is part funded by Innovate UK. It’s essential you understand how KTP works with Business and University partners, and the vital role you will play if you successfully secure a KTP Associate position.

You will be employed by Teesside University but will be working at the business partner premises day to day. Hours of work are 37.5 per week Monday – Friday (8.30pm – 5pm). The business partner is Unity World Ltd based at Brunel House, Brunel Road, Middlesbrough, TS6 6JA ( https://unity.world/ ).

The appointed candidate will have 20 days holiday (plus bank holidays) and access to a dedicated £5k training budget tailored towards their personal development. The appointed candidate will have access to industry leading technology and supervision from a leading academic research team from Teesside University. The business partner, Unity World Ltd is a technology & IT services company providing telecommunications, cloud hosting, data centre services, software development, and hardware sales. They currently employ 18 staff.

This KTP aims to design, create and embed bespoke AI-enabled intelligence platform by integrating systems, data sources, workflows and reporting structures to provide an AI-assisted enterprise decision support system.
