About the role £465–£550 per week | October 2026 Start Based in Newmarket Are you passionate about helping young people with additional needs thrive? Vision for Education is looking for a caring, confident and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join a supportive school from October 2026. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference to pupils who benefit from additional support with their learning and development.
The Role As a Learning Support Assistant, you will: Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with additional needs Adapt activities and learning materials to meet individual needs Support pupils with their engagement, confidence and behaviour Work closely with teachers and other school staff to create a positive, inclusive learning environment Help pupils develop academically, socially and emotionally
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
- Is patient, positive and adaptable
- Has strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Can confidently support pupils with a range of needs and behaviours
- Is passionate about helping young people reach their potential
- Has previous SEND experience – desirable, but not essential
- Can provide suitable references and complete an Enhanced DBS check
