We’re looking for a Accounts Payable/Treasury Assistant to join us on that journey. This role is about more than just day-to-day responsibilities, it’s about shaping how we inspire our customers, support our stores, and grow our community of adventurers.

What you’ll be doing
You’ll play an important role in supporting the day-to-day finance processes of the business, ensuring invoices, payments and reconciliations are processed accurately and efficiently. You’ll work across supplier accounts, expenses and cash activity, responding to queries and helping to keep our financial records accurate and up to date.
- Process invoices and credit notes, ensuring they are correctly coded and authorised
- Review and process staff expense claims in line with Company policy
- Process and allocate supplier payments in accordance with agreed payment terms
- Upload and manage large invoices within the accounting system
- Reconcile supplier accounts, investigating inaccuracies and outstanding debit items
- Review Goods and Non-Goods items placed on hold and take appropriate action
- Prepare and submit monthly Intrastat and VAT reports accurately and on time
- Reconcile cash and other payment types, investigate discrepancies and respond to supplier, cash and till queries promptly
We’re looking for someone who
- Has a good understanding of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
- Is confident using Excel and Outlook as part of their day-to-day work
- Has excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy
- Takes a proactive approach to tasks and is comfortable managing priorities
- Has a strong internal customer focus and responds to queries in a helpful and timely way
- Builds positive working relationships and enjoys collaborating with others
- Acts with integrity and understands the importance of maintaining confidentiality
- Is comfortable working with financial information, reconciliations and key measures such as aged creditors, GRNI, cash allocation and debtor days
