Stores Operatives Needed In Bridgwater £13-£16Ph!

Stores Operatives required for our client based in Bridgwater

Salary:

GBP13.00 – GBP16.00 per hour

This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a stable role with a mixture of warehouse, stock control and customer service responsibilities. Full training will be provided, including a 4-week training period during normal working hours. Following training, candidates will move onto either a fixed or rotating shift pattern.

Pay rate:

• Monday to Friday Days – £13.00ph PAYE.
• Monday to Friday Nights – £14.00ph PAYE.
• Weekend Days – £15.00ph PAYE.
• Weekend Nights – £16.00ph PAYE.

Shifts:

• 24/7 stores coverage.
• Fixed or rotating shift pattern following training.

Duties:

• Serving engineers at the stores counter and accurately recording stock taken from the inventory system.
• Carrying out regular stock counts and checking inventory levels.
• Responding to occasional urgent requests for engineering spare parts.
• Following clear procedures when contacting 24/7 suppliers or helplines for emergency parts.
• General warehouse duties including sorting, cleaning and keeping the stores area organised.
• Moving stock safely and carrying out manual handling.
• Ensuring all visitors sign in and stock movements are accurately recorded.
• Following site security, health & safety and company procedures.
• Using a computerised inventory system.
