SAP S/4HANA Finance Transformation Consultant

Overview

In this role, you help clients enhance finance functions through digital transformations, aligning CFO priorities with enterprise value. You work within CFO and Enterprise Value to apply best practices and modern tech to finance processes. You’ll tackle complex challenges using quantitative and qualitative methods, and shape solutions in agile, design-thinking settings. You join a collaborative, globally networked team that supports growth and continuous learning, delivering impact for large clients.

Responsibilities

• Support clients to achieve strategic and operational goals by improving processes and operating models
• Apply rigorous quantitative and qualitative analysis to address complex business challenges
• Facilitate design thinking workshops and agile design, co-developing solutions
• Build and manage client relationships ensuring requirements are met or exceeded
• Support business development: identify opportunities and develop proposals
• Contribute to CFO&EV practice by developing offerings, assets, and thought leadership
• Continuously learn and expand skills to grow CFO&EV and Accenture

Key requirements

• 3+ years in consulting finance transformation or 5+ years in industry with ERP/GBS/shared service transitions
• Familiarity with cloud ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, Workday, Microsoft Dynamics)
• Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, Robotic Process Automation and Analytics in finance
• Experience with finance process design across O2C, P2P, A2R, and R2R
• Ability to perform fit-gap analyses and develop roadmaps; vendor assessment
• Experience with design thinking and agile project delivery
• Professional Finance/Accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) with 1st time pass desirable; MBA preferred
• Strong analytical skills and ability to absorb complex information quickly
• Excellent collaboration, planning, influencing, prioritisation and time management
• Willingness to travel to client sites
