Job Description:

Artists, Designers & Creatives Wanted For Children’s After School Club

Are you interested in creativity and helping inspire children?

We run after school clubs that provide children with opportunities to explore their imagination using lego and technology. Clubs pay £35 – £45 ph.

We run four types of clubs:

Building Blocks – A club where students get to explore projects and games such as bridge building, tree house making and zip line challenges using Lego.

Programmable Robotics – A club where students learn to build and code small interactive robots. They are able to do this even if they have absolutely no prior experience of robotics or coding.

Virtual Reality Design – Our newest club, where children learn to build 3D worlds and then bring what’s on the screen into the real world. (Think projected solar systems and planets flying through the classroom)

AI Adventures: An engaging club where students dive into artificial intelligence through creative, age-appropriate projects, learning how smart technology works while bringing their own AI-powered ideas to life.

No prior experience is needed as we provide training for each of these.

What We Offer

  • Competitive pay: The starting rate is £35ph for Building Blocks and £40 for our other clubs. This increases by £5ph after 3 terms of teaching. We also cover travel expenses.
  • Fully equipped: All teaching materials and ready-to-use lesson plans are provided.
  • Supportive community: Connect with a vibrant network of fellow educators to share tips and ideas.
  • Local: Run weekly term-time sessions across London (typically 3:30-4:30 PM, with some double sessions) at schools close to where you live.

Skills and Experience Required

What We Are Looking For

  • Childcare confidence: A natural ability and confidence working with children (no formal teaching qualification required).
  • Reliable commitment: Able to commit to teaching at least one weekly hour session for the whole term.
  • Compliance: Must hold an Enhanced DBS certificate (or be willing to let us apply for one on your behalf) and complete safeguarding documentation.
  • Training readiness: Willing to participate in a 2-hour initial training session and go over teaching materials before each session

We are a young company that is continuing to grow and are looking for people to get involved and bring their passions and skills.
