Business Change Consultant (National Security)

Overview

In this role you will drive business change across a high-profile national security transformation programme in London. You’ll partner with senior stakeholders to shape and implement change strategies and communications, while assessing readiness and guiding adoption. You will embed new ways of working with delivery teams and support benefits realisation beyond go-live. The position offers long-term impact on national security delivery and exposure to complex, high-security environments. A strong, clear communicator with security clearance will thrive here, shaping change at senior levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead business change activities across transformation programmes
• Develop and implement change strategies, stakeholder engagement plans and communications
• Assess organizational readiness and manage resistance to change
• Collaborate with programme and delivery teams to embed new ways of working
• Support benefits realisation and track adoption post-go-live

Key requirements

• Active eDV clearance (non-negotiable)
• Proven experience in business change or transformation roles, ideally within defence, security, or government
• Strong stakeholder management skills, comfortable operating at senior level
• Experience with change frameworks (Prosci, APMG, or similar)
• Confident communicator, able to translate complexity into clear action
