Warlord Games is looking for freelance senior Graphic Designers who can take on lead-level freelance work when required.
This role is primarily hands-on graphic design, but with additional responsibility for checking, coordinating, guiding or supporting other design work where needed. It is suitable for experienced designers who can produce strong artwork themselves while also helping keep standards, priorities and files under control.
What we need
We are looking for freelancers who can:
Produce high-quality packaging, adverts, web images, booklets, assembly guides, cards, maps, decals, event assets and related graphic work.
Work from approved Product Definitions, Creative Briefs, templates, dimensions, product codes, brand guidance and technical specifications.
Review artwork for accuracy, consistency, brand fit, spelling, image quality, dimensions, bleed, crop marks, colour, legal information, logos and supplier requirements.
Support workload coordination and help identify missing briefs, priority clashes, blocked tasks or approval issues.
Maintain consistency across product ranges, packaging families, campaign material and printed components.
Support or improve templates, checklists, file structures and production artwork processes.
Communicate clearly with Studio, Product, Marketing, Web, QA, printers, suppliers and other stakeholders.
Behaviour matters
This role needs senior judgement, not just senior software skills.
We need people who can work calmly inside a brief, support others without grandstanding, and spot problems before they become expensive. You may be asked to check work, guide priorities or help turn unclear inputs into practical next steps.
Good freelance leads do not create drama. They create clarity.
