Responsibilities

• Handle high-value or complex clinical negligence matters, including birth injury cases, in collaboration with a Partner
• Develop and manage client relationships and grow the firm’s presence in the market
• Contribute to risk management, case strategy, and outcomes
• Mentor and support junior lawyers within the team
• Provide front-foot, proactive involvement in litigation and case leadership
• Support the team’s approach to client service and case management
• Contribute to internal processes and the firm’s growth plan

Key requirements

• Qualified solicitor with around 4+ years PQE
• Solid clinical negligence experience, exposure to higher value or complex matters (ideally birth injury)
• Experience in technical cases and readiness for a more involved role
• Commercially aware, organized, and able to manage clients and caseload
• Willingness to mentor juniors and contribute to risk and strategy discussions
