Overview
In this role you will lead in the leveraged finance space within our London team, advising lenders, sponsors and borrowers across corporate finance and growth lending. You’ll work with cross‑functional teams and overseas lawyers, shaping the local practice while benefiting from national backing. The position offers a strong path to matter ownership and client development in a high‑growth environment. You will help drive our multi‑jurisdictional financing work and contribute to a collaborative, innovative culture.

Responsibilities
- Draft and negotiate facilities agreements and security documents (primarily LMA form)
- Negotiate intercreditor arrangements
- Coordinate with corporate and restructuring teams and overseas lawyers as appropriate
- Support a mix of lender, sponsor and corporate clients across the full transaction lifecycle
- Engage in client development initiatives and contribute to market share growth
- Operate within a high-volume leveraged finance practice in London
Key requirements
- 5+ years PQE
- strong leveraged finance experience
- experience liaising with lenders, borrowers, intermediaries and/or investors
- proactive, client‑focused and capable of working in a team
- experience in a senior, client-facing role
