Multi-Skilled Engineer

Overview

In this role you maintain the factory’s equipment and systems, performing routine checks and fault diagnosis. You ensure maintenance work complies with company policies and safely supports production. You liaise with colleagues to address breakdowns and uphold strong relationships with key contacts. You contribute to delivering high-quality products for major retailers and help sustain reliable, efficient operations. This role offers a collaborative, growth-minded environment with afternoon shifts in Avonmouth.

Responsibilities

• Provide a professional maintenance service to the factory
• Undertake routine maintenance checks
• Identify fault diagnosis across facilities, equipment, and systems
• Ensure maintenance operations are completed in accordance with policies and procedures
• Liaise with and assist colleagues, informing of breakdowns or malfunctions
• Maintain a customer-focused approach and relationships with key contacts

Key requirements

• Essential background in maintenance in engineering environments, ideally food industry
• Understanding of mechanical systems
• Proven experience within a mechanical or electrical role
• Capability in the use of a range of software diagnosis tools
• Excellent IT skills
