Responsibilities
- Provide strategic, commercial and operational leadership for the regional CDM service in line with national objectives
- Own the regional order book and pipeline, monitor utilisation and project performance
- Lead resource planning and workload management to ensure efficient delivery
- Develop and strengthen client relationships, secure repeat business and grow major frameworks
- Act as senior escalation point for technical, commercial and delivery matters
- Maintain high standards of quality, governance and technical assurance
- Mentor and develop Associates and Senior Consultants, supporting succession planning
- Deliver regional strategy with accurate commercial and operational reporting
- Support business development, contribute to bids and identify new opportunities
- Foster continuous improvement and a collaborative, inclusive, high-performing culture
Key requirements
- Proven track record leading CDM or Construction Safety teams
- Strong commercial acumen with profitability, recovery and utilisation targets
- Deep knowledge of CDM 2015 and wider UK health and safety legislation
- Excellent strategic thinking, stakeholder management and communication
- Ability to build trusted relationships at all levels
