Senior Accountant, Open Ended Funds – Jersey

Overview

In this role you will deliver the financial reporting for a portfolio of complex clients within the Open-Ended Fund Team in Jersey. You will work under the Accounts Manager to prepare statements for entities such as Companies, Trusts, SPVs, Funds and Real Estate structures, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. You will apply UK GAAP and IFRS knowledge to diverse jurisdictions and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders. This position offers a hands-on role in a specialist fund environment with development opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and finalise financial statements for a range of complex entities (Companies, Trusts, SPVs, Funds, Unit Trusts, Real Estate) across jurisdictions
• Ensure reporting complies with UK GAAP and IFRS
• Interact with clients and internal teams to meet deadlines and resolve issues
• Support and coach junior staff; delegate tasks where appropriate
• Maintain accuracy and efficiency in reporting processes under pressure

Key requirements

• ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent
• at least 3 years’ PQE
• experience producing financial statements for diverse corporate entities across jurisdictions
• detailed knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
• proficiency in MS Office and CaseWare/Value Financials, Wealth Works or Troika
• ability to meet conflicting deadlines and take responsibility
• strong teamwork, adaptability, integrity and proactive approach
• residence or entitlement to work in Jersey (or equivalent)
