Wills & Estates Solicitor/Chartered Legal Executive Vacancy

Contract type: Full time, permanent (part-time options are welcome).

Location: The role will be based at our office in Yeadon but hybrid working is available, and some travel to our other offices may be required.

Salary: Negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

About the Role

We are looking for a qualified Wills & Estates Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with 3+ years PQE (or equivalent experience). You will work in our established Wills & Estates Team.

After a structured onboarding process, you will manage your own caseload, including:

  • Assisting clients with the full range of private client matters, including wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, administration of estates, Court of Protection and trusts.
  • Providing legal advice and support to clients.
  • Assisting senior fee earners on more complex cases as part of professional development.
  • Supporting the firm’s marketing and business development by producing written content or attending events where needed

You will receive regular training to support your professional growth, keep you updated on legal developments, and help you reach your career goals.

About You

Essential skills and experience

  • Qualified solicitor or chartered legal executive with 3+ years PQE or equivalent experience
  • Experience working in wills, probate and estate planning law
  • Strong communication skills and comfort working with people at all levels
  • Commitment to excellent client care and meeting clients’ expectations

Desirable (nice-to-have)

  • Technical experience gained at a leading firm (training is provided if needed)
  • Desire to gain STEP qualification
