Senior Property Management Surveyor

East Midlands (with travel across the wider Midlands)

£45,000 – £50,000 + car allowance Senior / Associate, with a clear route of progression

Our client is an award-winning, independent commercial property consultancy with an exceptional track record across the Midlands. The business has grown from regional roots into a genuinely multi-office consultancy, with a presence across both the East and West Midlands.

Their reputation has been built on long-term client relationships, deep local market knowledge and consistency of advice. That shows in an established stream of repeat and referred instructions from a client base spanning private individuals and landlords through to major national occupiers and PLCs.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and commercially minded surveyor to join a growing and entrepreneurial property management team. With a senior colleague retiring, our client is looking to bring in someone who can make an immediate contribution while also helping shape the long-term direction of the department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day management of a varied commercial property portfolio across the East Midlands and wider Midlands region, with some national work
  • Service charge management, budgeting and reconciliation
  • Rent collection, arrears management and tenant liaison
  • Lease management including break clauses, renewals and regearing
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with a broad client base, ranging from major national occupiers to private landlords

Candidate Profile

  • Proven background in commercial property management
  • Strong knowledge of service charge, rent collection and lease management processes
  • Experience managing a diverse portfolio including retail, office and industrial assets
  • Comfortable dealing with clients across the full spectrum, institutional and private
  • Commercially astute, with the ability to spot and act on opportunities
  • MRICS qualified (desirable)

What’s on Offer

  • £45,000 – £50,000 basic, dependent on experience
  • Car allowance
  • Generous contractual bonus structure
  • A structured, demonstrable progression route to Director
  • An integrated service offering, giving property management work the benefit of live agency, valuation and investment market intelligence
  • A collaborative culture with a genuine calendar of team activity, including an annual away day, monthly team sports, company-wide growth workshops and charity fitness challenges
