AI Engineer (Fluent Portuguese & English)

Overview

As an AI Engineer in our Global Analytics team in London, you will bridge research and production to deliver scalable AI solutions. You will train and fine-tune domain-specific models, design high-performance inference pipelines, and ship reliable, low-latency AI services for voice and text applications. You work closely with analysts and stakeholders to translate business needs into robust ML systems, while advancing governance, security, and observability. Responsibilities

• Lead model training and fine-tuning of LLMs (LoRA, QLoRA, PEFT) for domain tasks
• Architect and optimize inference pipelines to reduce TTFT and increase throughput (quantization, caching, efficient batching)
• Build and maintain real-time AI pipelines using WebSockets and SSE for voice (ASR/TTS) and text apps
• Deploy and orchestrate models in containerized microservices (Docker/Kubernetes) with robust monitoring, security, and scalability
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and stakeholders to align technical implementation with commercial needs

Key requirements

• 5+ years in AI/ML engineering with production-ready model deployment experience
• Deep proficiency in Python with clean coding standards, modular design, and testing
• Hands-on experience with PEFT, LLM training cycles, and prompt engineering
• Experience with high-performance inference stacks (e.g., vLLM, TGI, Triton) and GPU deployment optimization
• Linux-based infrastructure, containerized workloads, and automated CI/CD pipelines
• Advanced RAG capabilities including vector databases and semantic search optimization
