Overview

As an AI Engineer, you will help clients move toward agentic development by building AI-first software factories and robust data platforms. You will join a compact, skilled tech team and work across projects from data pipelines to agent development, DevOps, and CI/CD. The role supports enterprise-scale AI agent deployments with a strong emphasis on architecture, security, and observability. This is a hands-on, impact-focused opportunity at a profitable PE-backed firm, offering meaningful scope and collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Build AI-first software factories and establish foundations for AI-driven development
  • Develop integrations, data pipelines, and agent development across multiple projects
  • Oversee DevOps practices and CI/CD workflows for AI-enabled software
  • Contribute to solution architecture, technical design, and translating business needs into robust systems
  • Ensure security, compliance, and observability across deployed AI solutions
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and influence technical direction and change

Key requirements

  • Hands-on experience coding with AI agents across multiple programming languages
  • Strong backend development experience (Python or other OO language)
  • DevOps and CI/CD experience; familiarity with AWS and/or Azure
  • Knowledge of solution architecture and translating requirements into software
  • Solid understanding of security, compliance, and observability
  • Collaborative, pragmatic with strong communication and stakeholder management
  • Experience with MCP and building servers is desirable
