Overview
In this role you will manage and control digital project information to ensure accuracy, accessibility and compliance across project stages. You will work with Common Data Environments and digital platforms to support information requirements and industry standards, including ISO 19650 where applicable. Reporting to the Information Manager, you will provide day-to-day information management and document control support for project teams, suppliers and clients. You will help maintain reliable digital information and offer training and guidance on CDE-related systems, contributing to smooth information flows and project decisions.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate receipt, validation, classification, distribution, workflow and retrieval of project information
- Administer and support CDE implementation
- Establish and monitor information exchange processes and file-naming protocols
- Act as point of contact for project teams, suppliers, consultants and clients for information management or CDE support
- Produce project status reports and dashboards on information compliance, RFIs and technical submissions
- Support training and troubleshooting for CDE systems and provide information management guidance to stakeholders
- Attend meetings as subject-matter expert on information management
Key requirements
- CDE management and administration experience (Viewpoint for Projects / Viewpoint 4Projects)
- Digital or hard-copy document control experience
- Knowledge of Building Information Modelling and digital construction concepts
- Awareness of information management standards including ISO 19650
- Understanding of information security and construction/design management processes
- Knowledge of Dalux would be an advantage
