Overview
As Audit Supervisor in London, you will lead end-to-end audits for large clients, ensuring work is delivered on time and within budget. You’ll supervise on-site teams, coach junior staff, and review work to maintain high quality. You will work with clients and senior stakeholders to improve internal controls and support business development efforts. This role sits within a collaborative practice focused on technical excellence and client service, with opportunities to shape complex audit approaches and contribute to firm growth.

Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end audits from planning to completion
- Supervise on-site audit teams and review junior staff work
- Ensure compliance with UK GAAP, FRS 101/102, and IFRS
- Identify and manage complex audit areas with senior support
- Draft recommendations to improve internal controls
- Maintain liaison with clients and senior stakeholders
- Support team development and delivery of internal training
- Promote the firm with clients and third parties
- Assist with special projects such as company valuations and HMRC investigations
- Contribute to business development opportunities with partners and directors
Key requirements
- ACA/ACCA or internationally recognized chartered accounting qualification
- Proven experience leading audit teams including group audits
- Experience with substantive and controls-based audit testing
- Strong understanding of UK GAAP and auditing standards
- Desirable practical IFRS experience
- High motivation, initiative, and excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational abilities and confident, personable demeanor
