Requirements

• Experience delivering business change within a technical/system environment.
• Experience working with a range of stakeholders and organisations at different levels.
• Experience working within project management disciplines and methodologies.
• Experience developing system specifications and performance standards.

Responsibilities

• Undertake process mapping of existing as-is processes and develop future-state process maps.
• Identify and document business requirements and support the delivery of solutions against those requirements.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and re-engineering within the new ERP solution.
• Develop and deliver business processes and technical specifications in line with policies, legislation and service requirements.
• Support system design and ERP implementation activity.
• Write User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scripts and provide technical testing support.
• Provide system advice, guidance and support to end users, including investigating and resolving system issues.
• Support change management activity and help prepare staff for new ways of working.
• Work closely with Subject Matter Experts and change champions, providing specialist advice on ERP functionality and its impact across different service areas.
• Coordinate meetings and forums and act as a central point for identifying improvements and resolving ongoing user issues.
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation throughout the implementation programme.

We are recruiting an ERP Systems Officer to join Staffordshire County Council on an initial 3-month temporary contract through Belmont Recruitment. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The position supports ERP implementation, business change, process improvement, and user support within a technical/system environment.
