Social Work Apprentice — Paid Training & Fees Covered

Oldham Council is inviting applicants to apply for Social Work Apprenticeships in Children’s Social Care. The programme runs part-time over two and a half years, with on-campus study at Manchester Metropolitan University in central Manchester and 1–2 days on campus alongside 3–4 days on placement.

Over the 30 months you will train and qualify as a social worker, completing a Social Work degree (BSc) through the Apprenticeship Programme. Applications close on 1 November 2026.
