Overview
In this role you will work within Stantec’s water team to develop and deliver civil engineering solutions for water projects across the UK. You’ll contribute from needs assessment through to detailed design, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and potentially leading other engineers. The role supports AMP8-related opportunities, with access to award-winning programs and a strong development path. Responsibilities
- Develop solutions from needs identification and feasibility to outline and detailed design for water projects
- Collaborate with other disciplines to integrate civil engineering work with broader project goals
- Support and lead other civil engineers within project teams
- Deliver designs and design deliverables within set timescales and budgets
- Contribute to projects aligned with AMP8 and participate in award-winning water sector initiatives
Key requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering (Bachelor level as minimum; Chartered preferred)
- Experience in the water industry with design and construction knowledge
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and lead others when required
- Proven track record of delivering design work on time and within budget
