Trading Initiatives & Business Manager

Overview

In this role you will drive and operationalize new trading initiatives across multi-asset classes, from research through go-live, leveraging AI tools to accelerate analysis and workflow. You will work closely with traders and cross-divisional teams to shape opportunities in crypto, TradFi, and prediction markets. The position is high-visibility, offering exposure to external partners and multiple venues globally. You will own project delivery, pipeline prioritization, and day-to-day business management to enable fast, data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and prioritize new trading opportunities across asset classes, using AI-assisted research for market sizing, requirements, pricing, and risk analysis.
• Conduct competitor analysis with AI tools to track strategies, instrument launches, exchange activity, and market stance.
• Oversee listings of new prediction markets contracts, tokens, and coins from a trading perspective, coordinating with product, risk, operations, and tech.
• Maintain a rolling pipeline and roadmap of trading initiatives.
• End-to-end project management of initiatives with plans, timelines, RAID logs, and status updates.
• Coordinate cross-functional workstreams, manage blockers, and provide clear status reports.
• Plan and manage the broader initiative pipeline, flag capacity and dependencies proactively.
• Ensure documentation is well-structured and accessible; streamline project management using AI for status updates, drafting, summaries, and task tracking.
• Oversee day-to-day business management across trading desks, including reporting packs, dashboards, and KPI tracking.
• Collaborate with legal, compliance, risk, and finance; manage relationships with exchanges, brokers, data providers, and external partners.

Key requirements

• Min 3–4 years in trading, strategy, project management, business management, or financial services.
• Working knowledge of TradFi markets, crypto markets, or prediction/event markets.
• Proven project/programme management skills; familiarity with Agile/Scrum; awareness of SDLC and Jira.
• Experience or interest in AI tools (LLMs, AI research assistants, automation platforms).
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to produce briefing notes, status updates, and stakeholder presentations.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple workstreams.
