Senior Developer Contribution Officer

Overview

In this role you will help Lewisham deliver essential infrastructure and community benefits through developer contributions. You will lead and refine Building Safety Levy processes, monitor CIL and Section 106 obligations, and coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders. The position sits in the Strategic Planning team, shaping projects that support sustainable growth. You will provide technical guidance, prepare clear reporting, and drive continuous improvements to ensure compliance and value for the borough. Responsibilities

• Lead development of Building Safety Levy processes and liaise with teams, software providers and stakeholders
• Administer and collect BSL data, including quarterly management information
• Monitor, collect, administer and report on Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL)
• Oversee Section 106 agreements to ensure legal compliance
• Collaborate with stakeholders to secure CIL or S106 contributions
• Prepare high-quality reports, briefings, presentations for diverse audiences
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring and stakeholder engagement
• Support continuous improvement of systems, processes and reporting for developer contributions

Key requirements

• Experience in CIL collection and clear understanding of CIL regulations
• Understanding of monitoring S106 obligations and S106 agreements
• Experience with Exacom or a similar online database
