We’d like you to join us as a Support Worker at our service Bilberry Lodge in Lancashire. Experience working within the mental health sector essential Bilberry Lodge is a specialist residential service providing rehabilitation, care and support to vulnerable women with complex mental health issues. Purposefully small Bilberry Lodge has capacity for up to 6 female residents, allowing for a calm, relaxing environment.
What you’ll be working:
- Full-time hours – 37.5 hours per week
- Night and day shifts available
- 12.5-hour shifts.
- £25,400.16 (FTE) Per annum (Pro rata)
What you’ll be doing:
- Build relationships with the people we support, which are open and two way
- Support to undertake their rehabilitation programme
- Establish methods of communication with the people we support, reducing barriers when necessary
- Support with activities of daily living and personal care when needed
- Communicate any issues to the clinical team
- Accurately report and/or record work activities
What you’ll have:
- A genuine interest in providing the best person‑centred care possible
- The ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Experience working within the care sector / mental health
- Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS
