Machine Operator, £16.38, Monday–Friday, Temp to Perm, Immediate Start

Responsibilities

• Day Shift: 6:00am–2:00pm (30-minute unpaid lunch) – 3 positions available
• Back Shift: 2:00pm–10:00pm (30-minute unpaid lunch) – 2 positions available
• Prepare garments for embroidery by accurately and securely framing them.
• Follow job instructions regarding garment positioning and orientation.
• Remove backing, loose threads and finishing materials from completed garments.
• Check garments for marks, defects, incorrect positioning and embroidery issues.
• Fold and pack finished garments neatly to a high presentation standard.
• Keep work areas clean, organised and production-ready.
• Handle garments carefully and support the wider production team to maintain workflow.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a machine operator or within a production/line environment is preferred.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, repetitive production role.
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong eye for quality.
• Able to follow instructions accurately and consistently.
• Reliable, punctual and comfortable working as part of a team.
• A clean, careful and organised approach to work.
• Willingness to learn; previous embroidery experience is not essential
