Overview

In this role you will deliver engineering geology and geo-environmental work across the north of England as part of a multidisciplinary team. You will support a range of clients including water utilities, developers and government bodies, shaping desk studies, site models and field investigations. Your work will influence remediation, earthworks, and construction phases, while contributing to tendering and project management. Responsibilities

  • Produce desk-based assessments of site geology, hydrogeology, history and risk to develop ground and conceptual site models
  • Design and manage ground investigations; interpret data and prepare interpretative reports
  • Develop remediation strategies and earthworks specifications; contribute to construction phase activities
  • Supervise site investigations; support remediation and earthworks delivery
  • Collaborate on tendering, project and financial management; liaise with multidisciplinary teams and clients

Key requirements

  • Degree or Masters in geology or engineering geology
  • Experience in ground investigation, geotechnical and geo-environmental assessment and reporting
  • Strong written and verbal communication; IT literacy; understanding of health, safety and CDM regulations
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel for site work
