Our client is seeking a Conveyancing Legal Secretary to join the property team of an established law firm. In this role, you will provide secretarial and administrative support to conveyancing solicitors, manage residential property files and help transactions progress smoothly from instruction through to completion. You will enjoy a varied position, working closely with solicitors and liaising with clients and other parties throughout the conveyancing process.

Based in Bangor, this is a full-time, (or 4 days) on-site role offering the opportunity to collaborate with the property team and provide direct support to colleagues and clients.

  • The Role:

    • Provide secretarial and administrative support to conveyancing solicitors.
    • Assist with residential property files from instruction through to completion.
    • Prepare correspondence, legal documents and transaction paperwork.
    • Liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors.
    • Assist with property searches and conveyancing documentation.
    • Maintain electronic and physical files, monitor deadlines and follow up on outstanding documentation.
    • Manage calls, emails, client enquiries, appointments and diary arrangements.
    • Assist with billing and general administration, handling client information confidentially.

    The Person:

    • Previous experience as a conveyancing legal secretary is essential.
    • A strong understanding of residential conveyancing processes.
    • Excellent organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple files and competing deadlines.
    • Confident, professional communication skills and comfort dealing directly with clients and external contacts.
    • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and legal case management systems.
    • A proactive, reliable approach and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
