Teacher of Professional Construction (Surveying Specialism)£30-£35 per hour | 37 Hours per Week | Temporary Contract

Reed Further Education are currently recruiting for a Teacher of Professional Construction with a surveying specialism.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced construction or surveying professional to support learners across a range of programmes, including apprenticeships and higher education qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging teaching, learning and assessment to learners from Level 3 to Level 5
  • Support apprentices and HNC/D students in achieving their qualifications
  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons
  • Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Contribute to a positive learning environment

Requirements

  • Degree in a Construction, Surveying or related discipline
  • Industry experience within construction or surveying
  • Teaching qualification such as PGCE, Cert Ed or equivalent desirable
  • Assessing qualification advantageous
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills
  • Passion for developing the next generation of construction professionals
