Senior Quantity Surveyor

Overview

In this role you will lead commercial activities for a portfolio of housing projects, driving procurement, budget control and final accounts. You will collaborate with site and technical teams to deliver projects on time and within budget. The position offers a clear career path in a well-established residential developer with regional responsibilities. Responsibilities

• Lead subcontract procurement and package management
• Monitor project budgets, costs and financial forecasts
• Manage valuations, variations and final accounts
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and commercial risks
• Produce CVRs and cash flow reports
• Work closely with site and technical teams to support successful project delivery

Key requirements

• Degree in Quantity Surveying
• Previous experience within the housebuilding or residential sector
• Strong understanding of JCT contracts and commercial management
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; COINS experience is beneficial
• Full UK driving licence
