In this Delivery Consultant role, you guide customers through designing, migrating, and modernizing applications on AWS, including GenAI-accelerated approaches. You lead architectural decisions, ensure secure, scalable cloud solutions, and drive successful cloud journeys. You work with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable AWS architectures and modernization plans. You influence teams with best practices and industry trends, delivering impactful cloud outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex, secure AWS infrastructure tailored to customer needs
• Lead cloud migration strategies (6Rs) and complex migrations with wave planning and tooling
• Facilitate discovery sessions to capture business drivers and translate them into architecture recommendations
• Provide architectural guidance across multiple teams and share knowledge to boost productivity
• Act as trusted advisor on industry trends and emerging technologies
• Help customers modernize legacy applications using proven patterns (e.g., .NET, Java/Spring)
• Decompose monoliths into microservices/serverless architectures (Lambda, ECS/EKS, Fargate, Step Functions, EventBridge)
• Modernize databases using RDS, Aurora, DMS and schema conversion tooling

Key requirements

• 8+ years of consulting, design and implementation of serverless distributed solutions
• 3+ years architecting/operating AWS-based solutions across a broad set of services
• Experience leading architecture/design/modernization projects with AI and automation
• Experience with agentic coding tools (Kiro, Claude Code, Codex) for infra automation and doc generation
• Proficiency in 2+ programming languages from: Java, C#/.NET, Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js, Go, Ruby, Swift
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK) and CI/CD pipelines (CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
• Preferred: AWS Professional level certification
• Demonstrated migration and modernization strategy development (6Rs) and hands-on modernization
• Hands-on experience building cloud-native applications and IT compliance/risk management
