Senior Engagement Manager, UKI Engagement Management Team

Overview

In this role you lead complex AWS-based cloud transformation programs, aligning business outcomes with technical delivery. You partner with cross-functional teams to manage scope, schedule, budget, and quality while navigating risk and governance. You’ll translate client needs into actionable technical requirements and guide solutions with AWS frameworks, balancing performance, security, and business impact. Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex cloud transformation projects from start to finish
• Ensure delivery within time, budget, and quality targets
• Plan at program level with flexibility to adapt to evolving objectives
• Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across customers, partners, and internal teams
• Drive decisions and manage program-level risks and issues
• Establish governance, structure, and communication plans
• Lead multidisciplinary teams of technical specialists
• Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and governance requirements
• Bridge business requirements with technical solutions and align with customer outcomes
• Distill customer needs into clear technical requirements mapped to business outcomes

Key requirements

• Active project management certifications (e.g., APM, CSM, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2)
• Experience leading and delivering enterprise IT engagements
• Experience leading multiple Agile teams at scale
• Knowledge of public cloud value proposition and cloud delivery (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
• Preferred: AWS certification
• Experience delivering customer engagements in a professional services context
• Experience with Agile/project management tools (Jira, Rally, VersionOne, Taiga)
• Experience presenting to C-level executives and business units
• Experience managing large technical projects (8+ people, >$1,000,000 budget)
