Executive Assistant to CEO (Managing Partner)

Salary: £75,000

Location: London

Hybrid: Minimum 3 days in office with flexibility required

A leading international Law firm is looking for an experienced, highly organised and confident Executive Assistant to provide senior-level support to the CEO.

n

n

This is a high-profile role suited to someone who is proactive, discreet and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, international environment. You will act as a trusted partner to the CEO, managing complex priorities, stakeholders and schedules across multiple locations and time zones.

Key Responsibilities

n

    n

  • Manage the CEO's complex diary, prioritising commitments and resolving scheduling conflicts proactively.
  • n

  • Act as a key gatekeeper and first point of contact, handling confidential information and communications with discretion.
  • n

  • Manage and prioritise the CEO's inbox, drafting responses and escalating matters where appropriate.
  • n

  • Coordinate extensive domestic and international travel, including flights, accommodation and detailed itineraries.
  • n

  • Prepare high-quality correspondence, presentations, reports and other executive documentation.
  • n

  • Liaise confidently with senior stakeholders, clients and external contacts on behalf of the CEO.
  • n

  • Support meetings, events and key business activities, ensuring all arrangements and materials are in place.
  • n

  • Provide additional support to senior members of the leadership team as required.
  • n

  • Assist with projects, business initiatives and ad hoc requests, using sound judgement and initiative.
  • n

  • Maintain accurate records and ensure information and documentation are managed effectively.
  • n

  • Embrace new technology and digital tools to improve efficiency and ways of working.
  • n

Client & Business Support

n

Alongside executive support, the role will provide occasional assistance with client-facing and business activities, including:

n

    n

  • Drafting and amending correspondence and documents.
  • n

  • Coordinating client and internal meetings, including virtual conferences.
  • n

  • Supporting the CEO with client communications and follow-up actions.
  • n

  • Assisting with events and senior-level meetings.
  • n

  • Liaising with internal teams to ensure tasks and actions are completed efficiently.
  • n

About You

n

The successful candidate will have:

n

    n

  • Significant experience supporting a CEO or Managing Partner of a Law firm.
  • n

  • Previous experience within a professional services, legal or similarly high-pressure environment.
  • n

  • Strong experience managing a busy and complex diary and inbox.
  • n

  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • n

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • n

  • The confidence and professionalism to deal with senior stakeholders and clients.
  • n

  • Strong judgement and the ability to handle highly confidential information.
  • n

  • A proactive approach, with the ability to anticipate needs and work independently.
  • n

  • The ability to manage competing priorities calmly and effectively.
  • n

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.
  • n

  • A flexible approach and willingness to work across different time zones when required.
  • n

The Role

n

    n

  • Monday to Friday, approximately 9.30am–5.30pm.
  • n

  • Flexibility outside of core hours will occasionally be required.
  • n

  • Hybrid working, with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office.
  • n
