Overview

As a Construction Planner, you will shape project schedules for modular construction from pre-construction through handover. You will collaborate with project managers, design and commercial teams, and the manufacturing facility to ensure smooth integration of off-site production with on-site work. You will analyze critical paths, identify risks, and support bids, phasing, and logistics planning. This role supports fast, high‑quality delivery across diverse modular schemes and growth-focused initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed construction programmes and schedules
  • Analyse critical paths and identify risks to project delivery
  • Update schedules throughout the project lifecycle to reflect changes
  • Support tender submissions and prepare phasing and logistics plans
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders across design, commercial, and site delivery teams
  • Provide progress reporting to support successful delivery across modular building schemes

Key requirements

  • Proven experience as a Construction Planner in construction or modular/off-site sectors
  • Strong proficiency in ASTA Powerproject for programme development
  • Solid understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing, logistics, and project delivery
  • Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams (design, commercial, site delivery)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to propose mitigation strategies
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities
