Agricultural Property Solicitor

Responsibilities

• Advise on a broad range of agricultural property matters for farmers and estates
• Manage acquisitions and disposals of land, farms, woodlands and landed estates
• Provide guidance on agricultural secured lending, renewable energy projects, tenancies, easements and option/pre-emption agreements
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, agents, and other agricultural professionals
• Work within a collaborative, high-quality rural property team
• Gain exposure to complex rural property work with opportunities for career progression

Key requirements

• Minimum 1 year PQE in agricultural or rural property law
• Experience handling agricultural and estates related property transactions
• Knowledge of commons, mines and minerals and sporting rights is advantageous but not essential
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
